WAP staff to visit Tinian on Aug. 26-27
The CNMI Department of Public Works, Division of Energy Office is happy to announce staff from the Weatherization Assistance Program will be on Tinian on Friday, Aug. 26, from 9am to 4pm at Tinian Mayor’s Office and on Saturday, Aug. 27, from 9am to 12pm at Tinian Gymnasium to provide on-site assistance regarding the application process and the program services available to qualified low-income eligible residents.
With the services available, residents are able to make the necessary upgrades to improve the efficiency of their homes by replacing inefficient lightings and appliances with ones that are qualified Energy-Efficient, Energy Star® rated lightings and appliances that lower energy use to reduce high energy bills.
To avail of the program services, applications are available at the Tinian Mayor’s Office or you may obtain an application for services by downloading a copy of an application from our Website at www.cnmienergy.com.
