Triple J Saipan, Inc. officials led by chairman and CEO Robert H. Jones gave $10,000 to the American Red Cross NMI Chapter at the Surf Club grand opening on Oct. 9.

“Our grand opening was not only to celebrate Surf Club, but to honor our local employees as well as support the American Red Cross. The Red Cross does amazing things for the CNMI and we are happy to support this incredible organization,” said Jones.

Receiving the check were Red Cross executive director John Hirsh and board members Nola Hix and Larry Lee. The donation was intended to benefit Club 200, the American Red Cross’ major fundraising event with a grand prize of $10,000 to be held on Oct. 15, 2016.

“Triple J has been instrumental to us in the past years,” said Hix. “We love Triple J!”

Jones was joined at the check presentation by his wife, Margaret Jones, treasurer of Triple J Enterprises; Jeff Jones, president and COO of Triple J Enterprises; Jay Jones, senior vice president; Dan Murrell, senior vice president and corporate secretary with wife Judy Jones Murrell; and Mike Sablan, vice president of Finance and Business Administration

Triple J also honored its local management staff such as Chris Duenas, CFO; Mike Sablan, VP of Finance and Business Administration; Frank Ada, director of Human Resources; Jay Santos, GM of Five Star Wholesale Foods and Truckload store; Alex Camacho, GM of Hertz Rental Car Saipan; Perry Inos Jr., Business Development manager; Sophie Dela Cruz, leasing manager of Saipan Comfort Homes and Sandy Beach Homes; Ben Lizama, Triple J Motors sales manager; Herman Guerrero, Bubba Gump assistant general manager; Dan Salas, Bubba Gump executive chef; Vinson Deleon Guerrero, Bubba Gump sous chef; and Geraldine Sasamoto, Bubba Gump retail manager

“With five restaurants, and four other affiliated businesses as well as our hotel opening and Outback coming soon, there are many high-level, skilled positions becoming available in the next few years. It is essential to our business to hire talented local individuals,” said Ada.
