Emergency water outage set
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. said there will be a water outage in the villages of Upper San Vicente, portions of South San Vicente, Katbon Road, Bentana Drive, and Lao Lao Bay Drive on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, from 9am to 1pm.
The purpose of this water outage is to allow CUC’s contractor, AIC Marianas Inc., to inter-connect the new Sailing Drive water main to the existing water lateral. The contractor will be disconnecting the portion of the existing lateral that is to be abandoned in place and connecting the existing pipe to the new pipe through a valve and fittings. The affected area includes: Sailing Drive, Exchange Lane, Pution Lane, Pulan Land, and Mapagahes Lane.
This project is part of the Sailing Drive 8-inch waterline extension project funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
