My Cool Hobby-1

My hobby is playing the piano. A while back, my mom’s friend invited us to take a glimpse into Li’l Hands. That afternoon, my mom decided to sign me up. I joined in July 2015. Until now, I love to play the piano. I also have two keyboards at home.

When I practice songs, it may not be in recitals. My favorite song to play is “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and The Beast. Some of the songs I play in practice are: Auld Lang Syne (A New-Year Special) and Turkish March (Traditional Song). My lessons are every Saturdays and Sundays, from 2:15 to 2:45 on Saturdays and 2:00 to 2: 45 on Sundays. I practice for 20 or 30 minutes on weekends.

I have been in multiple recitals: Liberation 2017, WSR’s Family Fun Night, Saipan World Resort Taga Hall, and Multipurpose Center. I am currently in level 3 in piano.

For my first recital, I was playing “Colors of The Wind” from Pocahontas as my solo, and “Let It Go” from Frozen for my duet with an older boy.

I have since forgotten stage fright during the Mothers’ Day recital in 2016. All my mom’s closest friends were there with her in the audience. I like Beethoven, classical music like Fur Elise and Serenade by Joseph Franz. All thanks to Mrs. Joyce, the Li’l Hands Company and especially my parents.
