Possible change in water pressure
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. enters the final phase of a project to eliminate the direct feed water wells to the Koblerville community.
CUC has been working in this area to improve water pressure in the distribution system since 2012. It expects to complete switching its customers in the Koblerville, Agingan, As Gonno, and Afetnas areas to the Isley tank service area today, Feb. 8.
By serving water from the Isley tank, customers will get more reliable pressure and water service hours.
Customers will not see the pressure spikes overnight or during low demand periods, resulting in a much more consistent system. Customers will continue to receive 24-hour water after the switch is completed. (CUC)
