Language program featured in Sunday half-hour radio show

This Sunday’s “Your Humanities Half-Hour” radio program will feature the CNMI Public School System’s Chamorro Carolinian Language Immersion Program.

This program allows Kindergarten students at Kagman Elementary School to learn while being immersed in the Chamorro and Carolinian languages.

Guests include project director Pat Kapileo, grant writer and adviser Valrick Welch, cultural specialist Joe Limes, and community volunteer Lino Olopai.

“Your Humanities Half-Hour” radio program is sponsored by the Northern Marianas Humanities Council. It airs each Sunday from 2pm to 2:30pm. on Power 99, with host Catherine R. Perry. (PR)
