U.S. Attorney Alicia A.G. Limtiaco, Districts of Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, was invited to speak on Jan. 31, 2014, with approximately 75 fifth grade students at Harry S. Truman Elementary School, about bullying and cyberbullying, including the dangers and tragic consequences of bullying and cyberbullying, and ways to keep safe.

These students also graduated from the Gang Resistance Education and Training Program in November 2013. The GREAT Program’s primary objective is to raise awareness about and prevent delinquency, youth violence, and gang membership. The GREAT lessons taught by GREAT certified law enforcement officers and aimed at elementary and middle school students, focus on developing life skills to help students avoid delinquent behavior and violence, and learn to solve problems through communication and the exercise of good judgment. (USAO)
