Fee waivers for Aug. 8 NMC info session participants
Individuals who participate in Northern Marianas College’s information session on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, will qualify to have their NMC fall 2019 admission application fee and placement test fees waived. The waiver represents a savings of up to $75.
The info session will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at NMC’s Olympio Borja Library located at the college’s As Terlaje campus. The session will cover the admissions process and various financial aid options, such as the Federal Financial Aid program which uses the FAFSA.
NMC will also host a free FAFSA workshop on Friday, Aug. 9, 2019. The workshop will consist of three separate sessions held at 9am, 10am, and 11am at the NMC computer lab in room V108. Financial aid representatives will assist parents and students in filling out the online FAFSA for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year.
Those interested in attending the FAFSA workshop are asked to reserve a spot in one of the three sessions by e-mailing Financial Aid director Daisy Propst at daisy.propst@marianas.edu or by calling the Financial Aid Office at (670) 237-6791, 6793, or 6794.
