A high-end cosmetics brand in China recently visited Saipan for a team-building activity and reveled in the island-style hospitality that the CNMI is famous for.
Some 30 employees of Beijing-based S-Yue Cosmetics, led by its CEO, Yong Deng, arrived on Saipan last Friday and left Tuesday for a post-Christmas, pre-New Year team-building tour of the island.
The 30-year-old Deng said they thoroughly enjoyed their five-day sojourn in the Western Pacific that started with a day tour of Mangaha Island and included tours of famous historical sites like Last Command Post, Banzai Cliff, Suicide Cliff, Bird Island Lookout, and the Grotto. They also got to enjoy American and Chamorro and Carolinian food during their stay.
“We’re really satisfied with our Saipan tour. Saipan is really very beautiful with a lot of great scenery. The sightseeing tour was very excellent,” said Deng through an interpreter.
The company chose Saipan for its team-building activity because they were intrigued, he said. “Saipan has a very good promotion on China right now and we want to see for ourselves what Saipan has to offer,” he said through the interpreter.
Along with his staff, Deng also brought with him the company’s team of videographers and photographers to properly document their team-building activities.
“We shot a lot of videos so we could record our tour of Saipan. It will be shown on S-Yue Cosmetics’ website and social media platforms like [Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.],” he added.
