Lions Clubs meet 2020 in ‘Great Gatsby’ style

Lions Clubs International District 204, Region 2, along with 110 of its members and guests, met the year 2020 with a Great Gatsby-themed party at the Hibiscus Hall of the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan in Garapan last Jan. 4.
Region 2 chair Annamae Adaza said the event was intended to show the club’s appreciation to all members for a whole year of doing volunteer work and giving back to the community.
For this new year, the Lions Club International District 204 is looking forward to the District Convention with members from Guam and the Philippines at the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan on March 14 and 15. This will be followed by their annual health fair at the Joeten Daidai Social Hall on March 29.
Region 2 is composed of six clubs: Saipan Fil-Am Lions Club with president Eden Mercado; Saipan Unity LC with president Elizabeth Escober; Saipan Marianas LC with president Ladyvir Canape; Saipan Alliance LC with president Danny Robles; Saipan Natibu LC with president Manny Castro; and Saipan Centennial LC with president Arceli Lizama.
