Trumpty Dumpty Tweeter Tales 2020 Vision

“The only thing the 2016 election of Trump clearly proved is that, under a rare set of circumstances, an unprincipled, deceitful, vulgar, cruel, vindictive and inarticulate person (who also can’t spell) can become president of the U.S.”
—Steve Danning, letter in the Las Vegas Review Journal 2020.

Elections: Selection Rejection Dejection

Can you decide who is the best among billionaires
are you impressed with their rhetoric and ideology
or are you just looking for someone who truly cares
voting for their policies on immigration and ecology
what is of foremost importance in your final picking
from their campaign speeches what ideas are sticking
how much credence do you give to outside influence
a happy medium of personal and partisan congruence
as early primaries disappoint do you vote or not vote
do you feel you’re defeated or elated the morning after
that your dreams may be realized or your dreams dead
as progressives and conservatives swirl inside your head
were the multi billionaires able to buy their last hurrah
this time was it worth the trouble and whole brouhaha.

Premise Conclusion Delusion Illusion
A false syllogy limerick trilogy of half-truths and lies.

When bigly dyed Trump became POTUS
his thousands of lies shrunk his scrotus
daily communiques transmitted by tweet
poorly written contain repeat after repeat
and a bipolar message be sure to vote US.

From his campaign and year after year to date
he sealed his reputation and hyperbolic fate
wearing a red hat slogan that read MAGA
proved he didn’t understand our American saga
it always was, still is, and will always be great.

Daily weekly monthly narcissistic manifestation
notifying FBI, DOJ, and media across the nation
his former staff cabinet nation and world learned
how much they’ve been deceived lied to and burned
there is to be no criticism of him in any situation.
