At 2:14am on July 18, 2020, a report of a 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred at 19.937°N 147.606°E Mariana Islands region, Northern Mariana Islands. 6.5-magnitude quake in Tonga

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.5 occurred in the Tonga Islands at 1:33am on Sunday July 19 2020. Based on all available data, there is no tsunami threat to Guam, Rota, Tinian, or Saipan from this earthquake. (PR)
