The University of Guam will delay the start of classes to Wednesday, Aug. 26, in light of the island’s return to Pandemic Condition of Readiness 1, or PCOR1, Guam’s highest alert level. Classes were previously scheduled to start last Wednesday. Additionally, all classes will be held online to begin the semester.

Registration for classes for admitted students will take place from Aug. 17 to an extended date of Aug. 25, and senior citizen registration will take place on Sept. 2. The tuition payment deadline has been extended to Sept. 3.

During PCOR1, the UOG campus will be closed to the public but will remain open and will operate in a limited capacity. Non-essential in-person customer service functions will be suspended. (UOG)
