Public advised that CUC to build sewer line

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the public that there will be construction happening at the Chalan Kiya substation to the intersection of Chalan Monsignor Guerrero and Chalan Pale Arnold Road beginning today, Sept. 3, 2020, to De. 31, 2020.

The purpose of the elimination is to allow RNV Construction, CUC’s contractor, to safely install a gravity sewer line from the W-6 Sewer Lift Station to the W-5 Sewer Lift Station in order to eliminate the W-6 Lift Station.

Given the amount of time of construction activity that is expected to take place in the affected areas, motorists are advised to slow down near the project site and heed traffic control direction and devices. Pedestrians are also advised to avoid walking through the project area and to find an alternative route.
