Support group for families, friends of alcoholics, addicts starts July 17

A new support group called Al-Anon Family Group 12 Step Support Group for friends and family members of alcoholics and addicts will be having its inaugural meeting this Saturday, July 17, from 10:15 am to 11:15am at the Paradise Dental Spa on Middle Road in Gualo Rai and will meet every Saturdays, at the same time and location.

AlAnon is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking or drug use. 

By sharing common experiences and applying the Al-Anon principles, families and friends of alcoholics and addicts can bring positive changes to their individual situations, whether or not the alcoholic or addict admits the existence of a drinking problem or seeks help.

Al-Anon  is not a religious program and there are no fees or dues to belong to it. (PR)
