BBM-Sara caravan on Saipan on Sunday
A BBM-Sara UniTeam Grand Caravan will be held on Sunday, March 6, starting at 3pm. Organized by the Volunteers for BBM-Sara, Saipan-CNMI Chapter, the caravan will start from the Garapan Fishing Base (across Kristo Rai Church), head south via Beach Road, then proceed west to As Lito Road, before heading back to the Garapan Fishing Base via Middle Road.
Former senator Bongbong Marcos and Davao Mayor Sara Duterte are currently the leading presidential and vice presidential candidates in the Philippine general election scheduled on May 9, 2022. Based on the latest Pulse Asia survey conducted from Jan. 19-24, BBM is the president of choice of 60% of the respondents, with fellow candidate Vice President Leni Robredo at 16%. Similarly, Duterte is the top choice for vice president at 50%, with her closest pursuer, Senate president Tito Sotto, at 29%.
The lead of the BBM-Sara over their rivals is unprecedented. It never happened in the history of Philippines politics that a lead had gone this big. According to VBBMS, “Some people may choose not to believe the survey. It for their own reasons—and their own alone—that they do so. We respect their choice. But we will never sit on our laurels; our quest for greater heights will continue. BBM will be our next President. Mayor Sara will be our next Vice President.”
The VBBMS is appealing to all participants to strictly observe health protocols, such as maintaining physical distance and wearing of face masks. The group also would like to thank the CNMI Department of Public Safety and other people who helped in securing the permit for the grand caravan. (PR)
