Water service outage in portions of Finasisu tomorrow

There will be a scheduled water service interruption on July 12, 2022, from 9am to 4pm for Commonwealth Utilities Corp. customers in the Finasisu village: Joeten Subdivision, portions of Tun Antonio Apa Road, Husk Lane, Aschi Place, portions of Heggao Place, portions of Pengka Place, Tun Joaquin Doi Road and Ghoot Lane down to Bayak Drive. Customers should expect low water pressure to no water during the outage period.

This will allow CUC’s contractor for the Finasisu Waterline Replacement Project to perform the water meter relocation and reconnection to the new service lateral connected to the new 8-inch PVC and 6-inch PVC main waterline for the areas of Heggao Place, Husk Place and Tun Antonio Apa Road in Finasisu. Water service to the affected areas will resume soon after.

The transition work is part of the decommissioning of the old waterline to eliminate risks of contamination and frequent line breaks.
