Saipan Eagles induct new members, officers, board for 2023

The Saipan Magalahi Eagles Club and Saipan Maga’Haga Lady Eagles Group gathered last April 22 at the Fiesta Hall of the Grandvrio Resort in Garapan to welcome 21 new members and install the officers and board of directors for 2023.

The 2023 officers and board of directors of the Saipan Magalahi Eagles Club are Dennis T. Cortez as president, Gerald C. Aniciete as vice president, Segundo Lapeceros Jr. as secretary, Bong Martinez as treasurer, Joselito Espino as auditor, Antonio Lastimado Jr. taking over as club PRO, and Ronald De Ramos and Walter B. Brillio Jr. as protocol officers.

Carlito J. Marquez, Marlon E. Regaton, Rommel D. Relucio, Ryan S. Odicta, Saturnino “Atoy” Banting, and Noel B. Ordas compose the board of directors, while Teogenes Mendoza, and Jayvee Sagum took over as club Comelec team leaders. Cornelio General Jr., Rowen Mendoza, and Emmerson S. Claveria took on the role of care chairman.

The Saipan Maga’Haga Lady Eagles Group also installed their 2023 officers and board of directors, with Yolanda A. De Ramos as president, Maria Aileen A. Contreras as vice president, Maureen V. Claveria resuming the role of secretary, Ritchell Q. Sublemente as treasurer, Mary Jane A. Diestro becoming auditor, Melca J. Austria as the press relations officer, and Roselle D. Pitpit as protocol officer.

Mellany D. Regaton and Birhen K. Martinez were installed as members of the board of directors. Luzviminda U. Relucio was installed as club Comelec, ]Mildred Ebuen as the care chairperson, and Angelica Vina V. Lastimado as the IPP/club adviser.

Twenty-one new members were also inducted to both the Saipan Magalahi Eagles Club and Saipan Maga’Haga Lady Eagles Group, with 18 new members going to the Saipan Magalahi Eagles Club and three new members to the Saipan Maga’Haga Lady Eagles Group.

Saipan Mayor Ramon “RB” Camacho, who is also an honorary member of the Saipan Magalahi Eagles Club, was the night’s keynote speaker. He congratulated the new officers and members and inspired all members to continue doing good in the community. He offered his assistance, encouraging the team to continue working with him in his community program.

Others present at the event were Rep. Roy Aldan Ada, Lions Club International District 204 district governor Loisa Cabuhat, and first vice district governor Blanca Imbo. The event was also held virtually.
