NMI soccer team beats A. Samoa, 4-0
HONIARA, Solomon Islands—The CNMI Men’s National Team score a shutout against American Samoa, 4-0, in their consolation match in the 2023 Pacific Games at the SIFF 1.
Team captain Jireh Yobech scored in the 21st minute; followed by Ruben Guerrero in the 46th and 70th; then Nolan Ngewakl scored in the 90th.
The Blue Ayuyus followed up losses against Fiji and Tahiti with the breakthrough win against American Samoa.
