USAF aid sought for maintenance issues at Tinian Health Center, Tinian Aging Center

The Tinian Municipal Council has sought assistance from the U.S. Air Force’s 513th Expeditionary RED HORSE Squadron in Andersen, Guam, to address maintenance concerns at the Tinian Health Center and the Tinian Aging Center.

Acting Tinian Municipal Council chair Ana Marie C. San Nicolas informed Capt. Matthew C. Jacobs in a letter Tuesday that they need help to repair the leaking roof at the Tinian Health Center, as well as for plumbing and lighting issues at the Tinian Aging Center.

San Nicolas said these issues pose a potential risk to the health and safety of the community’s residents and its elderly.

“They need these places to be safe, secure, and conveniently accessible,” she said.

San Nicolas said CNMI departments and agencies are now experiencing budgetary difficulties, hence her effort to reach out to the U.S. Air Force.
