2 Japanese sisters missing

Two Japanese sisters have been reported missing when they failed to appear at their scheduled departure on Monday and their rental car was found parked at Wing Beach on Saipan.

As of this afternoon, Tuesday, Department of Public Safety police officers and firefighters are conducting a search on the tourists—ages 28 and 33. The U.S. Coast Guard is assisting DPS via an aerial search, according to DPS police spokesman Travis Hurst.
