Community input welcome during accreditation team visit to UOG, Saipan
The University of Guam is hosting a site visit by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission between Wednesday, Feb. 28, and Friday, March 1, 2024.
Comments from members of the Guam and Northern Marianas communities will be considered as the accreditation team undertakes its work and develops recommendations for UOG.
In addition to the WSCUC team’s visit to the UOG campus, its members will also visit Saipan where UOG offers programs including Master of Public Administration, Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and CHamoru Studies.
WSCUC accreditation aids institutions in developing and sustaining effective educational programs and assures the educational community and the general public that an accredited institution has met high standards of quality and effectiveness.
UOG last received a reaffirmation of its accreditation on July 8, 2016. After almost eight years, it’s time for another WSCUC accreditation visit. Receiving public input is part of its process.
To write to the WSCUC team about your input or comment about UOG, address your email to: uog@wscuc.org
The email can only receive comments but cannot be used to set up private appointments or send queries. This email account will close once the WSCUC Accreditation team’s visit ends on March 1, 2024. (PR)
