Emergency power service interruption on Tinian today
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the general public that there will be an emergency power service interruption for the island of Tinian today, April 4, 2024.
Thursday, April 4, 2024
Power Service Interruption Time: 9am-3pm
Area(s) Affected: Portions of San Jose Village, Marpo Valley, Carolinas Heights, Marpo Heights, Broadway Estates/Housing, and Subdivision (see attached map with red lines).
Water Wells Affected: Maui Il Pump Station
Purpose: To allow CUC linemen to de-energize utility lines to safely remove and replacea leaning, defective wooden power pole on Feeder 3’s main power distribution line.
