Weatherization Assistance Program outreach on Tinian tomorrow
The CNMI Department of Public Works, Division of Energy Office, is pleased to announce that the Weatherization Assistance Program team will be present on Tinian tomorrow, April 27, from 9am to 3pm at the Tinian Youth Center. Dedicated staff members will be available on-site to offer assistance with the application process and provide valuable information about program services tailored for qualified low-income residents.
Residents can take advantage of this opportunity to implement essential upgrades aimed at improving the efficiency of their homes. This includes the replacement of outdated lighting and appliances with ENERGY STAR® rated products, proven to reduce energy consumption and lower utility bills.
Thelma B. Inos, the Energy director, encourages all CNMI residents to participate in making their homes more energy-efficient by adopting qualified energy-efficient, ENERGY STAR® rated products.
Interested individuals can obtain an application by visiting the department’s website at www.cnmienergy.gov.mp.
