CLUB C Saipan, a gaming and entertainment venue, located in the 4-star 200-plus-room Kanoa Resort Saipan, opened its doors on Saipan, the capital of the Northern Marianas.

The facility is currently open from 11am to 3am daily, and features 8,000 square feet of entertainment space, gaming machines and stadiumstyle electronic table games with a seating capacity of 200. It will also offer a fusion of live entertainment and a state of the art digital music selection. A stellar international musical group from Macau will be headlining the opening of the Club. Upon entering the club, patrons will be treated to a state of the art sound system, LED screens and video walls projecting a high energy state of mind. A VIP room and a full service bar serving hot meals and refreshments will be available.

CLUB C Saipan comes on the heels of the introduction of the e-gaming law signed in December 2013 on the island of Saipan.

Club C director Juan Guerrero is excited to announce this exciting tourism enhancement for the CNMI. “This venue aims to expand nighttime entertainment and increase tourism spending. Surveys have shown that more evening entertainment options are desired by our visitors. We’re offering world-class entertainment, Saipan’s largest highdefinition video wall where we will soon be introducing live sporting events, and professional musicians playing the latest Top 40 hits, classics, and jazz music. The ambiance is also unique to Saipan with its ambient lighting, uniquely covered wall treatments, and contemporary furniture. We have some great entertainment promotions starting soon, and extend an invitation to our guests to come over.”

CLUB C was created to ensure that gaming operations adhere to strict quality standards, thus the owners engaged an international management team from Macau, IGamiX Management & Consulting Ltd., headed by Ben Lee, to operate the Club to international standards and to provide a first-class tourism facility. “The e-gaming law’s main purpose is to increase the local government’s tax revenue from its major industry, which is tourism, and further fund capital improvement projects and expenditures, generate more jobs and eventually elevate the reputation of Saipan as a competitive and attractive tourist destination. We’ve invested $4 million, or $500 per square foot into this facility; we’ve provided 50 new jobs to locals including retirees; and we’re getting ready to remit our first wave of gaming taxes to the government. Saipan has the second highest gaming tax rate in all of Asia after Macau’s 39.5 percent rate. We knew that Saipan’s gaming tax was high as compared to other Asian nations but we pushed forward with confidence in the CNMI,” said Lee.

CLUB C promises to be an exciting destination within a destination, and welcomes everyone to experience a new style of entertainment on Saipan. (PR)
