PUA program operations closed for training on Overpayment Module implementation

The CNMI Department of Labor would like to notify the public that the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program will be closed on Friday, April 26, 2024, to facilitate a comprehensive training session on the implementation of the Overpayment Module.

The Overpayment Module is a crucial component of PUA’s efforts to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of unemployment assistance programs. This training session will provide PUA staff with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively implement the module and address overpayment issues promptly and fairly.

During the closure, PUA services including adjudication, appeals, benefit payment control, and in-person assistance, will be temporarily unavailable. However, PUA remains committed to minimizing any inconvenience to its constituents and ensuring that essential services resume promptly on Monday, April 29, 2024.
