USS Rafael Peralta will conduct port visit on Saipan
ASAN, Guam—Sailors of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115) will conduct a port visit on Saipan this week. During their visit, sailors will join in the Liberation Day Parade on July 4.
The USS Rafael Peralta is forward deployed and assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
U.S. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region. (PR)
