Third Women’s Class victory for Billie
Billie Inabo Pangelinan won her third Women’s Class after topping the June 2024 “MOTO IV” Points Race Series last Sunday at the Cowtown Race Park in Marpi.
The 15-year-old Saipan Southern High School student vroomed her way to 50 points after topping both heats, while Mari Alvarez and Maribel Igitol came in second and third with 44 points and 40 points, respectively.
“The course was definitely dry and dusty as it was hot and sunny out. It wasn’t anything different than any other day. It was all just luck! I would like to dedicate this win to my aunty, Marissa Rasa. I would like to thank my sponsors for this race—Inas Kitchen, YCO True Value Hardware, Rep. Manny Castro (Ind-Saipan), and my Ericco Racing Team,” she said.
In the Power Puff Girls category of the Marianas Racing Association race, Miyako Celis topped the division last Sunday with 50 points, followed by Hitomo Sasamoto and Kesiil Camacho with 44 points and 40 points, respectively.
