Zhi competes in IMG Academy Jr. World Championships

The Northern Mariana Islands is proud to announce that junior golfer Zhi Yun Li is currently representing the islands in the prestigious IMG Academy Junior World Championships in San Diego, California from July 9 to 11. Alongside this significant event, Zhi will also compete in two other notable golf tournaments in the region.

Zhi’s journey to San Diego has been made possible thanks to the tremendous support from the local community and generous sponsors. On June 22, 2024, a successful fundraising golf tournament was held, drawing in-kind and monetary donations from various supporters. This outpouring of support has ensured that Zhi can focus on his game and represent NMI with pride.
