Apatang declares ‘All Clear’ condition

Acting governor David M. Apatang has declared the “All Clear” condition for the islands of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota as of 9am, today, Sept. 12, 2024.

Even as “All Clear” is declared, please take precautionary measures. The following weather advisories from NWS Guam remain in effect for Saipan, Tinian, and Rota:

• High Surf Advisory

• Small Craft Advisory

• Wind Advisory

• Flood Watch

Although Tropical Storm Bebinca continues to move away from the CNMI, a monsoon tail flowing into TS Bebinca continues to create windy and showery weather for Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. The community is asked to still take precautionary measures as the inclement weather persists throughout the week.
