Saddened

I was saddened to hear the news about the closure of the Saipan Tribune. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincerest si yu’us ma’åse for Saipan Tribune’s dedication to reporting the latest news in the CNMI, always with fairness and impartiality. More importantly, I am grateful for the way Saipan Tribune provided a platform for athletes to shine and, in some cases (like myself… LOL), gave them a voice to share their side of the story.

In my family, we often joke that “it’s better to be on the backpage than the front page of the newspaper,” but Saipan Tribune’s work made both pages equally valuable.

I wish Saipan Tribune staff the very best in their future endeavors.
