Tickets sales booming for friends of the arts benefit

They are in high demand! Ticket sales are booming for the Friends of the Arts and Future Friends of the Museum Benefit Fund Raising Event, to be held on the museum grounds on Friday 12, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. In addition to an excellent selection of wines to taste and a vast array of hors d’oeuvres to choose from, guests will also be able to bid on over 30 works of art from local artists and artisans as well as variety of items and services donated by local businesses. A pre-view of these auction items will take place on Thursday, March 11 at the museum from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.

This is the first time that these two organizations have mounted a cooperative fund raising effort and it is hoped that it will become a lasting partnership. Although the Friends of the Museum has not yet been formally incorporated, the groundwork is presently being prepared to accomplish this and funds raised during this event will be held in trust by the Friends of the Arts until the legal work is completed.

For an entrance fee of $25.00, guests will be able to enjoy the wonderful refreshments and local musical entertainment and will also receive membership in both organizations. Tickets can be purchased from the Museum, the CHC Gift Shop, NMC Bookstore, and Coffee Care. Advance ticket purchase is advised but tickets will also be available at the door during the event.

By all accounts this evening is shaping up to be an exciting event! The public is encouraged to come out and support these two organizations and enjoy an evening of fine food and wine and wonderful musical entertainment.
