Driver seriously injured

A yet to be identified driver of the car which ran off the mainstreet early Sunday morning is in serious condition at the Commonwealth Health Center.

Department of Public Safety Spokesperson Rose Ada said police officers were not able to recover documents to identify the driver. The only clue DPS can give out to the public is limited to his physical attributes of Oriental decent.

Based on preliminary police reports, the driver was cruising the As Perdido road around 1 AM Sunday when his car went off the highway, overturned and crashed into a van parked in front of Freddie’s Auto Shop.

He was later rushed to CHC and is reported to be in serious condition.
