Health inpsection
After conducting sanitation inspections during May 2-8, 1999, the Bureau of Environmental Health gave the following ratings on the various eating and drinking establishments on the island.
Grade A: Sango Restaurant and Sushi Bar, both of Coral Ocean Point, Koblerville; Rem-N-Sons Restaurant, Garapan; Diamond Nigh Club, Garapan; 8th Avenue Karaoke, Guao Rai; Trans-Asia Garment Employees Kitchen and Cafeteria, Lower Base; Mary’s Bakery, Chalan Piao; Casa de Roma Catering, Chalan Piao; Siloam Kitchen, Tanapag and Coco Restaurant (earlier ordered closed for one day).
Grade B: Canton Restaurant, Garapan. Grade C: Diamond Bar, San Jose; Yellow Handkerchief Restaurant, Talent Karaoke and East Ocean, all localted in Garapan; Supana Hong Thai Restaurant, Puerto Rico.
Ordered Closed were East Karaoke and Angel Ice Keki Stand in San Jose.
