Bake sale
Employees of the Bank of Hawaii will be holding a bake sale on Friday, Aug. 27th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. at the lobby of the bank’s Garapan branch.
All proceeds of the bake sale will be donated to the American Cancer Society in conjunction with the upcoming ‘Relay For Life’.
The public is welcome and encouraged to stop by the bank and purchase items to help raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Social Security Office to move
The United States Social Security Office at the Nauru Building in Susupe will be relocating to the second floor of the HongKong Bank Building (Suite 201) at the Marina Heights Business Park in Puerto Rico, Saipan. on Aug. 30, 1999.
Social Security plans to remain open at the old office until Wednesday, Sept. 1st. Limited service will be available at the new office beginning Thursday, Sept. 2nd. Full service should be available on Tuesday, Sept. 7th.
Social Security’s telephone numbers will not change. The public can reach Social Security at 234-6203 on Saipan and toll-free from Tinian at 433-9421 and from Rota at 532-9421. Hours of operation will continue to be Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon.
