The Saipan Mayor’s Office will receive a supplemental budget of $289, 320 to enable it to meet its shortfall for personnel and operations costs.
Gov. Pedro P. Tenorio signed into law yesterday a bill that appropriates the additional funds for municipal office which will be taken from the fees collected from cockfight, bato and bingo gaming.
The supplemental budget will be used for the Office of the Mayor’s expenses on salaries of personnel throughout the end of the fiscal year, which falls tomorrow, as well as for the purchase of parts, equipment rental fees, and purchase of equipment. (MCM)
