WINNERS FOR THE SINGING CONTEST:
1st prize winner – Jackie-Lynn S. Orpiano, Grace Christian Academy
2nd prize winner – Nicollette A. Lopez, Mount Carmel
3rd prize winner – Nicole A. Calvo, Saipan Community School
WINNERS FOR THE POSTER MAKING CONTEST:
1st prize winner – Marie Eloise Castillo, Mount Carmel
2nd prize winner – Cheri Sumalpong, Mount Carmel
3rd prize winner – Madeleine Jacob, Mount Carmel
First prize winners received $500.00 worth of gifts, 2nd prize winners received $300.00 worth of gifts and 3rd prize winners received $200.00 worth of gifts. All the schools of the winners will also receive cash prizes from Tan Holdings Corporation, sponsor of the event.
Christmasing with Children 1999 is a pilot project of THC for this year with the main objective of bringing the holiday cheers to the children. THC would like to thank the First Lady of the CNMI, Mrs. Sophie P. Tenorio, and the Saipan Mayor Jose C. Sablan, Mrs. Jasmine Sablan for gracing this event. THC would also like to thank the judges, Rynette Pulistico, Homin Kim, and Ed Diaz for the Singing Contest and Yoshihiko Arai, Dora Borja and Judge Tim Bellas for the Poster Making contest.
