lst Game: Len’s Restaurant won by forfeiture over Saipan Stars Wednesday’s game. Only one player showed up for the Stars. Len’s will advance to the next round, while Saipan Stars are eliminated for the playoffs. Len’s will face Marpac/Saipan Stevedore Sharks in the opening game today.
2nd Game: Ol’Aces outscored Diamond Auto Care 91-62 in the second game of the night. Dave Sablan pumped in 24 points, six assists, eight rebounds, and a steal. Romeo Iginoef and Jason Rafael combined for 42 points. Rafael contributed 21 points, three block shots, 10 rebounds, and five steals.
Gary Lashly was the leading scorer for the Car takers with 15 points, four assists, one block shot, 10 rebounds, and a steal, while Bernard Montano contributed 13 points, two assists, four rebounds in a losing cause.
Ol’Aces advances to the next round and they will face Get Covered in the second game on Friday.
Diamond Auto Care is the second team eliminated from the playoffs.
