CCAC seeks 2000 Flame Tree Festival poster design

The Commonwealth Council for and Arts and Culture (CCAC) is now soliciting designs that will be used in poster and promotional materials for the upcoming 19th Annual Flame Tree Arts Festival in June.

The Commonwealth Council for and Arts and Culture (CCAC) is now soliciting designs that will be used in poster and promotional materials for the upcoming 19th Annual Flame Tree Arts Festival in June.

Designs should be submitted to the CCAC Office in the form of full color rough drafts in any size, however, it must be close to the scale of 17 inches by 22 inches in a vertical format. Interested Artists may submit up to five draft designs by Friday, March 24, 2000.

From the submitted rough designs, one will be chosen and the artist will need to complete it. Selected design will not be returned and will be kept by CCAC.

The artist of the selected design will receive an honorarium of $300.00 and copies of the poster and other promotional materials bearing his or her design.

This year’s festival is slated for June 2 to 4 and promises to be bigger than last year. The festival has grown to become the single largest arts and cultural event not only in the CNMI but throughout Micronesia.
