Car seat voucher program and BSS/ USCG workshop

The Department of Public Safety informs the public that:
1. The Car Seat Voucher Program is now available. Those interested are asked to bring a copy of their vehicle registration, the child’s birth certificate, and a form of identification of the parent (passport, driver’s license, etc.)
Application for the vouchers are available at the Department of Public Safety Office of Special Services in Garapan.

2. The Department of Public Safety’s National Safe Boating Week Committee is inviting the general public to attend a workshop for all boaters on May 22nd at the Multi-Purpose Center from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The purpose of this workshop is to further educate all boaters and sea-goers about the different types of safety equipment available, safety measures, distress devices, and more.
This workshop will be conducted by members of the U.S. Coast Guard and the DPS Boating Safety Section.
