Lydia Camacho-Romisher graduates from law school

Lydia Flores Camacho-Romisher, daughter of the late Vicente S. Camacho and Estefania Flores Camacho, Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, graduated from the University of New Mexico’s School of Law in May of 1999. She also met all requirements and passed the New Mexico State Bar Examination.

Lydia will be officially sworn in and admitted to the New Mexico State Bar on May 1, 2000. Justice Pamela B. Minzner of the New Mexico Supreme Court will move her admission.

Lydia is married to Dr. John M. Romisher. Their daughters Stephanie Beth, Michelle Lynn, and Lindsey Anne are all attending schools in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Lydia received several distinguished awards from the University of New Mexico’s School of Law. Some of the selected awards include Who’s Who among American Law Students in 1999; the Dean’s Award in 1999; the Justice Irwin Stern Moise Award in Legal and Judicial Ethics in 1999; the Judge Oliver Seth Scholarship in 1998-1999; A
Certificate of Excellence in Advance Real Estate Transactions in 1997; Honor Roll Status in 1998; and the Dean’s List in 1999.

Lydia’s legal publication includes an article scheduled to be published this July in the Natural Resources Law Journal.
