Online enrollment for eco adventure camp
Mariana Eco Adventure Camp is setting the trend by allowing parents to enroll their children in camp on the Internet.
At www.ecocamp.mp parents can access a website that gives information about summer camp, posts pictures and schedules, and even allows parents to reserve their child’s spot in camp.
“This is just one of the ways we are trying to make our program easy and accessible to everyone. On our website, parents can look at weekly activities, see information about each of our counselors, observe pictures of their kids in camp, and now enroll students into whichever session they wish. Confirmation is based on space availability and is sent immediately by e-mail to the enrollee,” said camp director Keirsten Hess.
Camp has gotten off to a tremendous start as campers participate in activities such as golf, tennis, go karts, baseball, hiking, music, mountain biking, swimming lessons, field trips, computers, and more.
Additionally, many participants are taking advantage of the pick-up and drop-off service offered by Eco Adventure Camp.
“We have had a very good response to our activities. Each session we create a unique format so that students who come to more than one session are always doing new things. Last week the kids participated in a mock F.B.I. investigation, where the kids took fingerprint samples, made a mold of a footprint, and had to decide “whodunit” continued Mr. Hess. “Our pick-up and drop-off service has been an important feature that makes it easier on busy parents” said Mr. Hess.
Mariana Eco Adventure Camp is held Monday thru Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Mariana Resort and is designed for kids between the ages of four and 15.
It is offered throughout the summer with a new session every two weeks. Daily, and weekly rates are also available. For more information go to www.ecocamp.mp or call Mariana Eco Adventure Camp at 322-0770 Ext. 413
