Youth football league kicks off Sat.

After being postponed due to tropical storm Saomai, the 7th Annual Saipan Youth Football League will kick off tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. at the Airport Field.

All four area divisions––Central, Eastern, Northern and Western––and their teams will be suited up and on the field to welcome friends and families to the new season of football, fun and team spirit.

After the welcome, the public and all other teams are invited to stay and watch the first game of the season. It will be a contest between the Peewee Eastern Eagles and the Northern Cyclones at 1:00 p.m.

On Sept. 17 the Western and Central Peewee teams battle it out at 11:00 a.m. and the Midget Western and Central at 1:00 p.m.
Players participating in the games are asked to come to the weigh in at the Airport Field at 9:00 a.m.
