Tinian Sen. Jose M. Dela Cruz has appealed for help in locating his missing father, Manuel, last seen Saturday morning walking in San Jose village in the island municipality.

An island-wide search has been launched to find the 79-year old Mr. Dela Cruz who was wearing a black-and- blue printed shirt and faded black jeans.

Tinian police has been mobilized to conduct the search, while Guam police has sent two dogs to assist authorities in the effort.

According to the senator, half of Tinian has been scoured, including coastal areas of the village and Marpo area where his father is residing.

“We are already desperate and worried. We have put all our resources together in this effort to find our father,” he said.
