Our View: It takes the “YOU” equation to attain appreciable success in getting lifetime skills.
For decades, we’ve engaged all forms of training to ensure that even those who fail in high school are given opportunities to learn lifetime skills.
Our educational institutions have given it their all to offer opportunities for both college bound students and those who would be better off in vocational fields of endeavor.
Then there’s the group that couldn’t finish high school for one reason or another. Returning to school takes courage and determination and we praise those who have done so in an effort to better themselves.
No matter your age or perception of failure, nothing can change that attitude unless you pick up the pieces and return to school to get another crack at learning a skill that would help you down the stretch. We have single mothers return to prepare for GED tests, many of whom successfully attained their high school diploma through this opportunity.
This are young people whose quirk of fate derailed them temporarily from completing high school with the rest of their classmates. But such temporary setback never dimmed their visions to better themselves by returning to school to get over the first hurdle. Their eventual success was marked by one single factor: The “YOU” equation!
They know that in order to move out of the doldrums of what looks like an empty future, they simply returned to school and moved on with courses they had to take to attain high school equivalency diplomas. We’re sure that they too never had any regrets for the proactive decision they took to learn lifetime skills.
You too can use the “YOU” equation to move from a non-skill worker to one with marketable skills. Never mind the perceived shame. It’s time to move and return to school where you can put it all behind you. Do it today! Si Yuus Maase`!
