DPH to conduct health inspection

This is to inform the general public that health inspectors from the Department of Health, Bureau of Environmental Health are conducting village premise inspection in the following villages: San Roque, As Matuis, Capital Hill, As Teo, Lower Base, and Kagman 1. The inspection started on Dec. 4.

The village inspection condition consists on the following:

1. Immediate vegetation in the residential property such as weeds, lawn maintenance and ornamental decorative plants.

2. Trash, garbage and receptacle dispositions.

3. Waste water disposal (kitchen, bathroom and laundry).

4. Sewer usage; septic tank and outside toilets.

5. Construction materials.

6. Left-over food disposition.
7. Live-stock maintenance; chicken coop and pigeon maintenance.

8. Water containers and storage.

9. Inoperable vehicles (junk cars).

The conditions outlined above are means of controlling and preventing rodent infestation and mosquitoes’ breeding sites, including public nuisance whether physical or emitted through the air.

The health inspectors will be happy to provide further assistance during the inspections.
