Kagman school celebrates first Christmas at new campus
The Kagman Elementary School community was intent on experiencing a memorable “first Christmas” at the new public school campus by organizing a grand Christmas program that brought out the holiday spirit among students, faculty, and guests to yesterday’s celebration.
Over 800 students came well-prepared for their parts in the Christmas presentations put together for the parents’ and guests’ enjoyment.
The Christmas program was held for the first time at the jam-packed cafeterium that exceeded its 675-audience capacity.
A total of 27 groups performed song and dance production numbers to the tune of popular Christmas melodies such as Little Drummer Boy, Jingle Bell Rock, Ten days of Christmas, Joy to the world, Winter Wonderland, Back Street Boys Dance, Fanmatto, Feliz Navidad, 12 Days of Christmas, Family Christmas, and Reindeer Boogie, to name a few.
The festive occasion also called for other reasons to celebrate following the successful Sept. 5 opening of the $6 million new public campus.
The new campus boasts of eight artistically designed buildings, 27 fully-air-conditioned classrooms which will accommodate 25 students per room.
Each building has been furnished with a pair of common toilets which also features a library, students’ lockers, and room to accommodate more than 30 computer units.
The campus is also complete with spacious parking area, a baseball field, and basketball court. (MM)
