Hotels host holiday lunch for ManAmko
Music, dancing, great food and good cheer all around. It was another heart-warming holiday activity to remember: the Hotel Association of the Northern Mariana Islands’ (HANMI) annual luncheon for the ManAmko. This was the fourth year that HANMI hosted the event, held this year at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Gilligan’s on Friday afternoon.
“In the spirit of the holidays, we’ve put on this special community event in honor of our ManAmko. Each hotel contributed a favorite Chamorro or international dish to create one delicious banquet,” said association president Ronald D. Sablan.
Some 100 senior citizens attended the luncheon, which also featured raffle prizes and entertainment from the hotel association and a special visit from Santa Claus. The luncheon, which was organized by Ed Salas of NIS Corporation for the HANMI, was served by top management of Saipan’s hotels.
