NMC placement test and registration schedule

The dates and times for the English and Math placement tests for Northern Marianas College’s Spring 2001 Semester are as follows:

Wed., Jan. 10

English 1:00-4:00 pm Room A-5, A-6

Math 10:00 am-12:00 pm Room A-5, A-6

Math 5:00-7:00 pm Room A-5, A-6

Thurs., Jan. 11

Math 10:00 am-12:00 pm Room A-5, A-7

Math 5:00-7:00 pm Room A-5, A-7

English 5:30 – 8:30 pm Room A-4, A-6

Tues., Jan. 16

English 1:00 – 4:00 pm Room A-5, A-6

Test takers need to bring a photo ID (NMC Student ID, Drivers License, Passport, Other School ID, CNMI Alien Registration Card, etc.) and two no. 2 pencils. A calculator may be used for the Math Placement Test, however it is not required. No registration or sign-up is needed. Seating is limited and on a first come, first served basis only. No admittance to the testing room will be allowed after the starting time listed above.

All students pursuing a degree at NMC must take these two tests in order to register for classes.

NMC Spring 2001 Semester Registration Dates:

Jan. 5-6 New Student Orientation

Jan. 10-12 (9am-6pm) Registration for ongoing students

Jan. 13 (9am-12pm) Registration for new and ongoing students

Jan. 15-18 (9am-6pm) Registration for new & ongoing students

Jan. 19 (9am-6pm) Late registration

Jan. 20 (9am-12pm) Late registration

Jan. 22 First day of instruction

The NMC Spring 2001 semester class schedule is available at the Office of Admissions and Records (OAR) located in Bldg. N on the Saipan campus, and at the NMC Rota and Tinian campuses, or students may obtain a schedule directly from their advisor.

New students wishing to apply for admission to NMC may pick up application forms at the OAR. Please contact the NMC Counseling Center at 234-5498, ext.1322, 1341/2/3/5 if you will need any special assistance during registration or have any special testing needs.
