Dad yells at kid; cuddles bars

Give her milk, not a bellow.
An irate father who apparently could not stand the sound of a long wailing cry allegedly yelled at his child in an attempt to stop what to him was a deafening noise inside his As Lito home Sunday evening.
Suspect Gerard Camacho Benavente reportedly approached the one-year-old baby girl and yelled right at her face. The mother was trying to feed the baby dinner at that time.
He later found himself cuddling cold bars.
In an interview with police, the child’s mother Imelda Barcinas said she immediately took the baby away from the father’s abuse by carrying her to another room.
But Mr. Benavente followed her and allegedly slapped her on the back of the head. Ms. Barcinas claimed to authorities that her husband continued to assault her until she fell from the couch with the baby in her arms.
She reportedly attempted to flee from her husband’s reach by sneaking out of the room with the telephone. From there, the victim dialed her mother’s phone number to report the whole incident.
Police assistance was called by the victim’s mother where the suspect was arrested for assault and battery and domestic violence charges. (MM)
